1. Visualise your best self. What are your most important qualities.
Hehe, my best quality is my personality. :)
I am a nice person to be around, I have great manners and values and I like to express my style and interests. :) I have a great sense of humour, ambitious, and intelligence. I am an understanding person, who listens to others when they have problems. I help others, when I am able to and I enjoy giving people a good laugh and just being there for them when they need it, I am compassionate.
My best self is, someone who is always there for others to listen, (not necessarily give advice.) who has her head on right, and is self dependent responsible and mature, but knows when to relax and have a laugh, someone who believes in herself, and the importance of others and friendship, who is happy with solitude, but prefers to be around others, doesn't overthink everything, sticks to what she believes in, and has her own ideals and beliefs, I am someone who knows what I want, and wants to reach her dreams the right with blood, sweat and tears. Someone who wants to experience everything the world has to offer. Sees my own intelligence but doesn't rule it over others less fortunate, can admit when they have done wrong, and see their mistakes, someone who doesn't sweat the little things and understands my own weakness and most importantly someone willing to adapt and change, always looking at improving the person I am and I enjoy doing it. :)
2. Make a list of priorities.
How would I like to live my life.
If I could choose how to live my life, I would choose to live in the city, where everything is busy and it never stops turning because it is always a great reminder that the world doesn't stop turning when you have a bad day, it reminds me that it is easy to lost get in the sea of people when I stop being myself to conform to societies standards. I would live near my family, not to near so that i can have independence but near enough I don't miss out on watching my siblings grow up, close enough that I get to help shape them into the adults they want to be, that I can be there to help them through the good the bad and the depressing, I want to be there when the graduate high school, and when they win swimming contest or perform on stage an I want to buy them ice cream when they go through their first break up of to celebrate them getting their drivers licences. I don't want to miss out on watching them grow up, because they only have so many years before they get too old to tickle and hug, and laugh with, when they get lives and families and you only see them a few times a year. :) because I want our bond to be strong enough that it doesn't get broken by us all going our separate ways even though we have lives of our own with hopes and dreams we still love and care for each other, we are still a family. :) and that is what I have chosen, so that is what I want to do and for that reason I am going to go to Canterbury university. And then I will transfer and do first year health science unless I see something that is incredibly awesome, something I become passionate about.
Would you like to be healthy and vital? Yes
Would you like to have deeper connections with people in life? yes
What would make you proud to be able to say in ten years? I am happy, I am living the life that make me happy.
It is important for me to spend time by myself: Yes thats right, I have been saying it, when you are alone you get to see what its like to be yourself, without feeling like anyone is watching you or like you need to be someone else, it is important to feel comfortable spending time alone.
I need to turn negative self talk into encouragement, I need to see what I am saying too myself and spin it around so that it keeps me going not bringing me down.
I can finally say that I accepted my past, there is nothing I can change, and there is nothing I want to change everything experience has lead me to where I am today.
- Start everyday with a to do list.
Today for example:
-I want to complete the second chapter for chemistry and start the third.
-Take a shower
-Put my clothes in the wash
-clean my half of the room
-apply for the university of Canterbury, including dorms.
-Want to stretch out my entire body.
-Find a new school bag.
-Go for a run
-Meditate, to let my flows free. I am so sick of having myself worry about the same things.
- Having a clean environment, can make you own brain feel more at ease, and while I cant clean the house, I can clean my own room, which is looking pretty dirty.
- Regulate your sleeping pattern, something I don't have to do, because I have a regular sleep cycle, I ensure I get enough shut eye.
- Find a diet that suits you, its about time i made an effort to eat healthier, because eating healthy makes you feel better about yourself.
- Exercise, it cleans your energy.
